David Schmidt, CFA | Chief Investment Officer – Quantitative Equities
Dave oversees the quantitative equity investment process and is responsible for the ongoing analysis of our quantitative models. Dave first joined Trinity Investment Management Corporation (now the Quantitative Equity group of OFI Institutional) in 1988 as a Systems Analyst. After a leave to run a consulting business, he rejoined the firm in 1994 and assumed his current responsibilities in 1999. Dave holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Carleton College and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Blake Gall, CFA | Vice Chairman – Quantitative Equities
Blake facilitates the quantitative equity investment process, including research and product engineering. He also meets with clients, consultants and prospects. Before joining Trinity Investment Management Corporation (now the Quantitative Equity group of OFI Institutional) in 1985, Blake was Director of Quantitative Research at Prudential-Bache in New York and an Analyst at E.F. Hutton. Blake holds a B.S.E. in Engineering from Princeton University and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He has been active in the CFA program on the Candidate Curriculum Committee and the Council of Examiners.
James Glover, CFA | Head of Research – Quantitative Equities
Jim heads the Quantitative Equity team of research analysts and is responsible for investment data integrity. Jim joined Trinity Investment Management Corporation (now the Quantitative Equity group of OFI Institutional) in 1984 and was an equity trader prior to assuming his current responsibilities. Jim earned a B.S. in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Patrick Bisbey | Head of Investment Operations
Pat supervises OFI Institutional’s trading desk and portfolio accounting operations. Pat oversees an institutionally oriented accounting system that forms a platform from which to deliver client reports and is responsible for the inclusion of all product data on our internal systems-based resources. Pat joined Trinity Investment Management Corporation (now the Quantitative Equity group of OFI Institutional) in 1981 as an Analyst and subsequently moved into trading before assuming his present position. Pat holds a B.S. in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University.
Richard Betts | Managing Director – Investment Technology
Rick oversees OFI Institutional’s technology and information systems. Prior to joining Trinity Investment Management Corporation (now the Quantitative Equity group of OFI Institutional) in 1988, Rick was an Engineer for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources. He holds an M.S. in Information Science and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Christopher M. Brannen | Director – Quantitative Equities
Christopher contributes to the ongoing analysis of our quantitative investment process. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Christopher held positions as a self-employed Technical Architect and Consultant, as a Systems Analyst for Martin Marietta and as a Junior Engineer for IBM Corporation. Christopher holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and an M.S. in Computational Finance from the OGI School of Science and Engineering.
Joseph E. Murphy | Director – Quantitative Equities
Joe assists in the testing and design of quantitative models. Before joining Trinity Investment Management Corporation (now the Quantitative Equity group of OFI Institutional) in 1985, Joe was a research assistant at Pennsylvania State University. Prior to that, he was an engineer with Avco Systems Division. Joe holds a B.S.E.E. from the Pennsylvania State University.
David H. Zhou, Ph.D. | Director – Quantitative Equities
David contributes to the ongoing analysis of our quantitative investment process. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, David held positions as a Teaching/Research Assistant and Adjunct Instructor at Drexel University, and as an Instructor at Beijing Jiaotong University. David holds a B.E. and an M.E. in Management Information Systems from Harbin Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Drexel University.

Rob Hadley | Research Analyst – Quantitative Equities
Rob analyzes fundamental data of publicly traded companies, which is the basis for the inputs of our quantitative models. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Rob was a Credit Analyst at Chrysler Financial. Rob holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Bloomsburg University, and is a member of the International Honor Society of Economics.
Dara Harper | Research Analyst – Quantitative Equities
Dara analyzes fundamental data of publicly traded companies, which is the basis for the inputs of our quantitative models. Dara started with Trinity Investment Management Corporation (now the Quantitative Equity group of OFI Institutional) in 1997 and holds a B.S. in Secondary Math Education from Lock Haven University.
Gerry Mansell | Research Analyst – Quantitative Equities
Gerry analyzes fundamental data of publicly traded companies, which is the basis for the inputs of our quantitative models. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Gerry was a Senior Investment Analyst at Papalia Financial Services, a Senior Investment Analyst at Aris Corporation, and a Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army. Gerry holds a B.A. degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.
Robert Pfahl | Research Analyst – Quantitative Equities
Robert analyzes fundamental data of publicly traded companies, which is the basis for the inputs of our quantitative models. Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Robert worked as a Portfolio Analyst at Aris Corporation, and as an Investment Planner at Mid State Bank. Robert graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Electrical Engineering.
Lisa Spicer, CFA | Research Analyst – Quantitative Equities
Lisa analyzes fundamental data of publicly traded companies, which is the basis for the inputs of our quantitative models. Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Lisa worked as a Senior Analyst for ING Securities, Japan and as a Senior Analyst/Senior Manager for WestLB Securities Pacific. Lisa holds a B.S. degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. in International Business from the University of South Carolina. Lisa also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Ruth Evans-Fultz | Junior Analyst – Quantitative Equities
Ruth analyzes fundamental data of publicly traded companies, which is the basis for the inputs of our quantitative models. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Ruth worked for Aris Corporation for thirteen years. She holds an ASB Associate’s Degree in Accounting from the South Hills School of Business and Technology.
